教育部副部长林蕙青在第二届语言测试与评价国际研讨会(the 2nd International Symposium on Language Assessment and Evaluation)上透露，教育部正在组织研制中国英语能力等级量表(scale)以及与之配套的国家英语能力等级考试(national graded examinations in English proficiency)。这意味着，我国将建立起一个统一的英语测评体系(testing and rating system)。
The Ministry of Education is drafting a national English proficiency testing and rating system, an education official said.
