A New Suit
Hoping to make a good impression at a job interview, my husband, Gene, bought a new suit, shirt, and tie. On the big day, in the company's waiting room, he kept checking his clothes to make sure that everything was perfect. Then his prospective boss called him in. During the interview, Gene was making a point and, leaning foward, laid his arm on the boss's desk. Their eyes were immediately drawn to the price tag still attached to the sleeve of Gene's new suit. "Well," quipped my husband," If I don't get the job, at least I can take the suit back."
