要是远远地看
像一窝鸡雏
我们亲爱的寨子
天上的白云一样
山野的风一样
在山间流浪
如果细细地倾听
猪狗的叫声
也仿佛能听见
当一天黑下来的时候
我们亲爱的寨子
好像一个刚刚诞生的婴儿
在大山母亲的腿上熟睡了
我的眼前一片黑暗
内心也空寂
Our Settlement

When seen from a distance
It appears like a nest of chicks
Our dear settlement
Like a white cloud in the sky
Like wind on an open slope
I wander among the mountains
And when I listen carefully
Its grunts and barks
Seem to reach my ears
When the day ends in darkness
Our beloved settlement
Sleeps nestled against mother’s legs…
Like an infant born moments ago
My eyes look out upon darkness
My mind is filled with silence
